Terms of service
Effective October 17, 2026. These terms apply when you use pdftower.com. By using the site or buying a plan you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PDF Tower (the "Service") is operated by Sovereign Firm ("we", "us"). Contact: support@pdftower.com.
2. What PDF Tower is, and is not
PDF Tower is a software tool for opening, filling, signing, editing and saving PDF files in your web browser.
PDF Tower is not a law firm, an accountant, a tax preparer, an immigration consultant or a government agency, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government agency, court or company whose forms appear on the site. We do not give legal, tax, immigration or other professional advice, we do not tell you which form to use or how to answer it, and we do not file anything for you. If you need advice, ask a qualified professional or the issuing agency.
Official blank forms are published by their issuers and are free from them. Each form page links to the issuer's free copy. What you pay PDF Tower for is the tool, not the form.
3. Free and paid features
Opening, viewing, searching, highlighting on screen and filling a form on screen with a live preview are free. Downloading, printing or sharing a file you filled, signed, edited or produced with a tool (including merge and compress) requires a paid plan. Plan features are listed on the pricing page.
4. Plans, billing and automatic renewal
PDF Tower plans are subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. A yearly plan is charged once a year in advance; a monthly plan is charged every month. The price, the billing period and the renewal terms are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
You can cancel at any time from your account page ("Manage plan"), which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. There is no early-cancellation fee. We do not sell yearly plans billed monthly.
If we change a plan's price, the new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you, and you can cancel before it applies.
5. Refunds
If you are unhappy with a purchase, contact support@pdftower.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review it case by case. A renewal you forgot to cancel will be refunded promptly on request if you have not used the plan since it renewed.
6. Your documents and your responsibility
Files you open in PDF Tower are processed on your own device. We do not receive or store the contents of your documents, your form entries or your signatures (see the privacy policy).
You are responsible for what you put in a document, for choosing the correct and current form, for checking the finished file before you use it, and for filing it correctly and on time. Forms change; each form page shows the date we last checked the issuer's source, and you should confirm the current version with the issuer before filing. An agency, court or recipient may reject a form for reasons we do not control.
Only open documents you have the right to use. Do not use PDF Tower to create false documents, impersonate anyone, or break any law.
7. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep form information and the software accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a form shown is the version an issuer currently accepts, or that a filled document will be accepted by any recipient.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, penalties, fees, missed deadlines or rejected filings, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
9. Software and intellectual property
The PDF Tower site, brand and software are ours. The in-browser PDF engine is based on PdfCraft by the ArtCraft team (MIT or Apache-2.0 licensed); page display uses PDF.js (Apache-2.0). Official forms belong to their issuers.
10. Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change, and material changes will be noted on this page before they apply. We may suspend access for misuse. If we stop offering the Service, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid plan.
