PDF Tower

Compare two PDFs

See every word that was added, removed or changed between two versions of a document.

Runs on your device. Your file is not uploaded.

Free to open and preview. Downloading the result needs PDF Tower Pro: $119.99 a year or $14.99 a month. See pricing

What it does

Add the original and the changed version. PDF Tower compares their words on your device, lists every change with its page, and highlights it on both documents. Download a copy with additions and removals highlighted.

How it works

  1. Choose the original and the changed PDF.
  2. Compare, then tap a change to see it on both versions.
  3. Download the highlighted comparison with PDF Tower Pro.

Good to know

  • Compare looks at the words, not the look of the page: a moved picture or a new colour is not listed.
  • Scanned pages are pictures of text, so they have no words to compare.
